💡 I do not believe in keeping clients in therapy longer than necessary. In many cases, a single session can be enough to address the issue effectively.

Phobias & Fears

Phobias and fears can often be resolved in just one session using a combination of Hypnosis, Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), and Integral Eye Movement Therapy.

Phobias are usually learned responses and can be unlearned by working directly with the subconscious mind. Common examples include exam nerves, fear of driving tests, nail biting, public speaking, and other specific fears.

Smoking Cessation

When you have decided that you want to stop smoking, hypnotherapy can greatly assist the process. Wanting to stop is key — lasting change requires commitment and a genuine desire to become a non-smoker.

Once this is established, I use a combination of hypnosis and NLP to firmly embed your decision at a subconscious level. These techniques make letting go of the habit far easier and more natural.

One session is usually all that is required for smoking cessation.

Weight Management

Change your mindset, not just your diet

This programme consists of four sessions using hypnosis, NLP, and other therapeutic techniques. It is direct, supportive, and results-focused.

This is not a diet or nutrition programme. Instead, the focus is on developing the mindset needed to change habits, lifestyle, and outlook for long-term success.

Between sessions, you will receive motivational support via telephone calls so you are fully supported throughout the process. The aim is not only weight loss, but maintaining it long term.

Anxiety

Break free from persistent worry

Anxiety often involves persistent worry, "what if" thinking, and fear of how situations or other people may respond. Over time, this can limit daily life and may lead to panic attacks.

Anxiety is different from depression, though it can develop into depression if left unaddressed. When working with anxiety, I typically expect around four sessions, using a combination of hypnosis and other effective techniques.

Integral Eye Movement Therapy is particularly effective for anxiety, and I also teach practical techniques to reduce anxiety and panic at the onset. Ongoing support is provided between sessions via telephone calls.

Depression

Supportive programme for emotional balance

I offer a supportive six-session programme combining Hypnosis, Neuro Linguistic Programming, and Integral Eye Movement Therapy.

This structured approach helps address the underlying emotional patterns associated with depression while rebuilding motivation, resilience, and emotional balance. Between weekly sessions, I provide regular check-ins via telephone or email to maintain support and momentum.

All sessions are held in confidence.

PTSD / Trauma

Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) can develop following a traumatic experience such as an accident, abuse, or witnessing distressing events. It is commonly experienced by military veterans, emergency services personnel, and others exposed to trauma.

PTSD keeps the brain's threat system in a constant state of alert, leading to high anxiety, panic attacks, flashbacks, and exhaustion. While the memory of the trauma cannot be erased, the emotional charge attached to it can be significantly reduced.

Integral Eye Movement Therapy is particularly effective for PTSD. It is gentle and does not require re-living or talking in detail about the traumatic event. Over approximately six sessions, many of the emotional responses connected to the trauma are released and replaced with feelings of safety, calm, and balance.
